The alligator gar is a primitive fish that comes from the rivers of the southern states of the United States: Florida , Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and South Carolina. It was then introduced in numerous private waters in southeast Asia including Thailand because of its interest by fishermen. Indeed, this formidable predator gets feelings very strong when taken at the end of his line. The alligator gar is very combative, powerful. It can reach very large sizes up to 3 meters long and over 150 lbs! So a beautiful trophy.
