National Park Khao Laem is a must to visit Thailand for nature lovers. It covers approximately 1500 km2 and is located Sangkla Buri district of Thong Pha Phum and in the western province of Kanchanaburi. Allow about five hours by car or bus to join this enchanting place.
To come to the park of Khao Laem follow Route 323 from Bangkok and then take directions Kanchanaburi - Thong Pha Phum - Sangkhlaburi. The park is about 40 km from Thong Pha Phum.
The sights to see in the region are of course the majestic lake of Khao Laem Dam, Cave Kreng Kra Wia, magnificent waterfalls Kreng Kra Wia and Dai Chong Tong, the highest, it measures 15m high, or the I Dee Bo Ong, a Burmese-style Chedi, the Pom Pee is a viewpoint you look beautiful lake, the jungle and the beautiful sunsets and finally, the pond Krieng Kawi or you can observe many species of bird.
Once there you stay there for many hotels, resorts, camping or guesthouses that offer tours, trekking and angling.
